Alex Dark
I wouldn't personally get a rear tr hub, flange spacing is too narrow so first give a really stiff wheelbuild

Martin Reynolds
surely getting a couple / one pre built wheel would work out massivly cheaper?
LEON
AND.... Black hubs with silver spokes & silver rims ain't right. Go black silver black, or silver black silver, or better yet black black black. And odd hubs when you're spending all that money, why? old boy chez
Once you go black you never go back. Well that's what my mum said......
dezmtber
Silver spokes are lighter and stronger.
FamilyBiker
lighter, hmmm, okay,by a marginal amount, but why stronger? lets say they´d take mild steel spokes, they´d be stronger than niro? as far as i know theyre niro but painted, making them the same strength,´d agree with the weight then though
LEON
Silver spokes are lighter and stronger. The weight you'd save could be matched by plucking a pube...that shouldn't even be a thought, and I really don't think anyone's gonna break a black spoke in a situation where a silver one would have survived. I've used cheap plain gauge Halo black spokes for years and never had a problem. Black spokes look stealthy, expensive, cool.
Azarathal
I always thought silver spokes make the bike look like a £100 halfords shitbike
FamilyBiker
hey,i got silver spokes! but only because i wanted sapim strong,no back ones were there when i ordered.
LEON
I always thought silver spokes make the bike look like a £100 halfords shitbike Exactly, and the strength/weight argument is valid on paper, but in the real world you will never notice a difference. dave33
Get the maching rockman rear hub flanges are much wider, also not sure about rims, the tryall/ rockman hole rims are far better, plus they don't have angled side walls. Spokes I'd got for dt
dezmtber
The plain halo black spokes end up rusting where they cross. i would use sapim or dt black spokes, but they only do 26" black spokes. most of the other brands make a cheap painted spoke
