Greetings
For me personally it's early to mid 90's dance stuff, not really chart tracks (though there are one or two that broke through) Could you post some links? It sounds like something I might enjoy. I don't generally listen to a lot of music but the genre I most enjoy and actually makes me feel emotional (can't describe the feeling, it's rather strange) is 70's and 80's electronic music. Valerie Collective is a great place to listen to these tracks if anyone likes that sort of music. I get the strongest kicks from tunes associated with memories though - various Music Instructor tracks, some Bomfunk MC's and one track from Flying Steps which I listened to a lot during my late childhood. aener
I don't believe that anyone who truly appreciates music can't play an instrument. Next time I see you, Dave, I'm bringing an acoustic and we'll find out! I couldn't disagree more. My deepest interests lie in music, but I can't play any instruments. JD™
I couldn't disagree more. My deepest interests lie in music, but I can't play any instruments. I think I would have been more clear if I'd said "couldn't" instead of "can't", but I decided to go with can't because anyone could play an instrument. I think I'd be more accurate if I said "...truly appreciates music couldn't play an instrument to a relatively high level" but it's just too wordy. Plus I was drunk. MadManMike
Not an instrument as such, but when DJ'ing (Properly, not this Traktor bullshit) and you get a mix that is 100% spot on with two tracks that are awesome you definitely get this feeling. Also a hard trance track I wrote gave me a similar feeling, playing the lead riff loud definitely makes the hairs stand up!
FamilyBiker
70's and 80's electronic music. "kraftwerk" and such were pretty much the pioneers of the "techno"(wouldnt call it that today though) genre. i have tha album "radioaktivität" on the shelf,a piece of music history, but in no way sound i´d describe as good these days. saying that theres nearly zero music of today i´d describe as good, unfortunately

MadManMike
Kraftwerk brought electronic music to the masses, hats off to them! The sound certainly is dated now though

Ali C
I totally get that effect, especially with this > I love all that track but from 8 mins onawards it's amazing but the build up to the change at 12:11 is a real goosebump moment! Revolver
After some thought I realise that some songs do properly psyche me up like this. However it only works until I get bored of hearing the song. Zombie Autopilot by Unearth is a good one. So's The Contour by Sky Eats Airplane. Dave Anscombe
As they say music is the face of god -i agree with this statement. Just dont get me mixed with being a religious man because im not
Joe O'Connor
I strongly believe that music has a massive power to move people. There are certain bands that I listen to any I am just overwhelmed by them and it makes me so happy. One of them being one of Underoath's albums, mainly because it was the first physical CD I bought when I first started listening to bands like that. There are some songs that just have such a good vibe to them that I love and others that hold memories for me that provoke feelings relating to when I first heard it.
