Brian Bleech
If you look back on page 18 or something Mark says 22/16 will work and that Ali is using it. 22/17 would be lame. 22/11 is the way forward.
nicolasp1405
Does anyone know if arcade's ownners have the capability to order the arcade exclusive parts if they break any... Ex: If my grips worn out, will I be able to get the arcade one(matt black, with gloss black logos) or I will have to buy the normal production ones(white logos)? Mark W
I'd imagine it'd be the normal one with the white logo, but you can just take your old end cap off and put it on the new grip if you particularly wanted to.
nicolasp1405
Inspired dont stock replacment parts for the arcade?
Sam Nichols
I don't think grips really count as a replacement part in the same respect as things like cranks and bars and stuff. Like Mark said with the grips, when they wear out keep hold of your bar plug, get some Inspired lock on grips, and voila.. It'll be the same.Alternatively get rid of those god-awful lock-ons and put some delightufl foam grips on instead You can get all the spares that really matter. nicolasp1405
Yeah foam is my next choice.. But for replacment I took grips for example, but lets say the pedals or the stem...
Sam Nichols
The stem is a Trialtech 90mm x 35° which is available 'off the peg'. I assume those pedals will be made available seperately too.Inspired aren't the kind of people to leave you knackered if you break something. Even if it isn't available to purchase they'll do everything they can to hook you up.

isitafox
Quick question about your bike, is the rear disc fitted with a +20 adaptor? Can't tell in the pictures on tarty.
Mark W
With the standard Hope brakes it would be, with his Saints it'll just a normal IS-to-Post 180mm rear adaptor.
isitafox
How come they went for a standard is rather than a +20?
TK92
Exactly! Everything else in inspired's line up comes w 180mm disc tabs, everyone seems to be moving to post mounts so why not go that route????
Ali C
post mounts just look gash for how big they need to be. The bike is meant to be ridden for everything, mtbers can be confused with + mounts so just standard IS mounts keeps it simple and you can run 160mm rotors if you're dirt jumping or riding it bmx style and don't need super powerful brakes and don't want to bend massive rotors
Matthew62
Exactly! Most frames are IS and you just use an adaptor. An IS to post mount for a 180mm rotor is pretty much the standard. post mounts just look gash for how big they need to be. The bike is meant to be ridden for everything, mtbers can be confused with + mounts so just standard IS mounts keeps it simple and you can run 160mm rotors if you're dirt jumping or riding it bmx style and don't need super powerful brakes and don't want to bend massive rotors Exactly, I'm amazed no one has mentioned this yet but surely there will be a good few riders who are going to want to run a 160mm rotor on the back. Ross McArthur
It'd be another thread to strip too if it was a post mount on the frame.
AdamR28
Can fit inserts though, if the designer is on the ball. Bad pic but... http://fcdn.mtbr.com/attachments/brake-time/840800d1382406979-my-ghetto-rigged-xtr-m965-post-mount-imag0588.jpg We get a lot of people getting confused with +20 mounts, there's pros and cons to both...

nicolasp1405
Does anyone know why normal hose clips dont fit on the arcade frame?
Mark W
I've fitted normal hose clips to them in the past. In what way don't they fit?
Sam Nichols
They look fairly 'standard' in the pictures. Why is this even a problem? If you've somehow managed to lose them already, cable ties are more than adequate.
nicolasp1405
Well the bike didnt came with some and my old one dont fit, they are to small to reach the other side to clip..
Filo
Mine came with the factory clips in a bag, they don't fit with the hope hoses. Not sure why they don't fit I'd say the grove isn't quite deep enough. As said above, it doesn't really matter. Just use cable ties.
TK92
I see now that the new batch of inspired Arcades now feature +20 mounts, meaning no adaptors needed if you running IS mount Hope calipers and 180mm rotors....NIce!! Has anyone found out what tubing they are using and if it is Heat Treated or not????
AdamR28
It's heat treated, don't worry...
