*gentlydoesit
Noob question so i dumped it here. What dual disk frames are about? I dont see many stock or 24s with disk, theres probably a good reason?... What kind of prices do they go for? Like a used ozonys for example? bing
You won't find many dual disk frames in either wheel size. 26", I think neon x ray, mad phase, ozonys cannibal v1. 24", ozonys curve v3/4, 2013 echo 24, inspired fourplay, or some of the other 24" street bikes. It's mainly due to the flex in the wheel why it's not done, you do get a lot of bend in the spokes when using a disk brake on a big wheel, unless its built mega strong, and mega heavy which rules it out for trials. isitafox
Also a lot of brakes don't bite and hold enough with a 26" wheel which puts people off them. I've got a dual disc 24" comp frame and I must say when you've got a decent set of brakes on there it's superb.

Ah ok, is the flex significant enough for a beginner to notice? And if a 32 hole hub with a big enough flange to do a 4 cross spoke pattern were used is that the heavy way you described?
