bing
Don't know if anyone is bothered too much, just looked at the world rankings after seeing andrei burton write a few things on Facebook. Good to see two English lads in the top ten. Well done to the both of them. The only other person from Great Britain in the top 30 is Dave Kerr, in 30th Edited October 1, 2013 by bing
Blake
can someone explain the points to me a bit please?
kevind
Go onto the UCI website, trials section, then rules!! Good luck! 150 for a win then I lost the will to live.
Blake
I understand how they get points, ie 1 or 5 but how come Vincent has 940?
shercofray
I understand how they get points, ie 1 or 5 but how come Vincent has 940? Well the 0 - 5 whilst taking part in the individual trial obviously dictates the place they finish in that trial. Whereas the 940 will relate to getting given a certain number of points towards the championship that they will receive at each round. Eg football - 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw etc.. I'm guessing they will get different points for placings in final and then more when they compete in the super final - but that's a pure guess. The only thing I could think of is that they started off with 1000 and whoever has the most at the end wins. But that would mean the winner 5'd 30 sections, and also means there where 500 sections....
kevind
Nope, its a 150 for a win then less for second and so on. irrespective of the marks in the sections or overall score. maybe wrong but UCI webpage explains all.
dave33
Points are Awarded depending on what position you place and are added up at the end. Vincent won the worlds so he got loads for that and you get more for a win there than a win at world cup.
