isitafox
Anyone tried a Hookworm on a 24 yet? Got one spare with a unicycle I just picked up and it's the first time I've come across one yet it feels really grippy. Obviously I'd try it myself but I haven't got a bike to put it on as of yet so wondered if anyone else had given them a go?

Ross McArthur
I always remember when they first came out and thought they were mega heavy too. Thats probably becuase they were on a jump bike I tried, which was also heavy, so thats just stuck in my mind about them. Saying that, they look cool and would look clean on a bike imo. 1a2bcio8
Nick Cooke has used one on and off for the last couple of years. He liked that he could run low pressures and the tyre wouldn't fold due to how much material was there. Personally, they were too big and heavy for my interests. In that sense, I recommend a DMR Transition as a similar - but significantly less - heavy duty tyre. I think it's about 2/3 of the weight actually. I've never had pinches aside from two very strange front hook incidents in about 3 years now. The grip seems to be really good as well. SamKidney
Hookworm on my old street/jump bike felt really good, until the going got damp.

Trials-Mikey
When I saw a hookworm on my mates bmx it looked tiny. Incredibly thin making me think it would be good And light..... I was wrong
FamilyBiker
used to run them on my commuter,a 26" singlespeed marin MTB.good puncture resistance and does roll very good even on low pressures, like a schwalbe big apple.agree with the heavyness though
