FamilyBiker
nothing like a 4-piston IS xt caliper from 2002 with a recent lever like xt 4-finger trekking or bl-m 505. no joke Edited September 18, 2013 by FamilyBiker

FamilyBiker
even my actual deore brake held up better than the hope of a mate, and its still going strong (mates hope tech trial is f**ked).bought at the same time. so,if you dont wanna spend much money, get a deore 596 and replace it, if it breaks.lever costs 25€ here, thats a joke for that performance Edited September 18, 2013 by FamilyBiker

aener
From my personal experience, Hope Trial Zones and Techs are considerably more dependable than Saints. My MT2s were consistently really good (not as good as Hopes/Saints) but then both irreparably shit the bed at around the same time.Edit: Though Saints have the advantage of ServoWave, so slight buckles in the rotor are much less of an issue. Depends which you hit more, brake or rotor Edited September 18, 2013 by aener

Mark W
Speaking of Saints, I've had a chance to try out my new EBC Red Organic pads and they're approx. 3 f**k-tonnes better than the standard Sintered pads. Both brakes are whoppers now.

Mark W
Ta-daaa. That's where I got mine from. Original pairs got lost in the post but they sent out another set pretty quickly. Fresh out the packaging they were better than the Sintered pads. Worth noting those are the M810-style pads not the M820s though, so if you're running the newer Saint they won't be much good to you... Cheers for that, yeah I'm going to be running an M810 on the front of a trialsy 24 build, so might think about those. Got Nukeproof Sintereds on my mtb's Saints and they are pretty damn good, so I wonder how those would compare...
