crinks85
I was wondering if ther was any down sides to these, I would assume that the brake should push evenly on the rim but how have people found these?
AdamR28
They are pretty tricky to fit, poor quality. If you want to use something like this, the Trialtech one is much better. In theory they should make no difference but in reality I have seen a slight improvement in how 'evenly' the cylinders operate.
Blake
I think what they're best for is how clean they look, and they're easier to manage the hoses with them.
*gentlydoesit
If the spring rates inside the slaves were adjustable they wouldnt be needed.. why dont magura do it?
dave33
Well maybe if they grouped thef slaves with pistons like they do with bearings so they could get closer tolerances they would be simalar resistance. To many variables though
FamilyBiker
a guy on the magura forum(staff member obviously) said the financial effort to sort all the springs and seals for rate and friction wouldnt fit under the "low priced" tag magura stand for,it would alter the brakes price. as if they were cheap haha Edited September 17, 2013 by FamilyBiker
*gentlydoesit
Seems lots of people are making bike bits recently, why not have a go at some slaves?
