Red Bull taste

It's been legal in France for 5+ years now, I seem to remember. Equally, governments arbitrarily banning foods/drinks doesn't really mean too much. Without being 'that guy', they're more than happy to rake in money for cigarette sales which have a massive, proven link to killing people - that kind of suggests that what they do isn't necessarily based on looking after little old you ;)

I actually quite like the taste of it, but I think that's primarily because it's an acquired taste really. Although it also means I've bought into the advertising hype, I'm also much, much more likely to buy a can of Red Bull if I feel like I need something like that because not only do I massively prefer the taste, but I also massively prefer what they do as a company. The events they put on are f**king amazing and the support they give people is really good.

Ugh, 'that guy'. <_<

It was over 5 years ago I was in France so that makes sense, good point on the cigarettes to. (Y)

Related: The 'Editions' version of Red Bull is £1.50 for 4 cans from Asda at the moment. This was very much relevant to my interests this week as a result of having to start a 3hr drive at around 11pm on 2 consecutive nights. Shout outs to Cranberry flavour.

Sorry for the bump, but can you please tell me what's so bad about it? Except the sugar ofcourse.

I just love it how people say how dangerous it is to drink energy drinks, when they don't even know if/why it's "dangerous". :)

taurine causes the heart to build up more contraction,COULD be dangerous for some people, should be not if not consumed in litres

That's true, BUT what is actually good when you consume toooo much of it? Well nothing really... :)

I'm not here to protect energy drinks, I just don't think that they are as 'dangerous' as some say that they are (When consumed normally) :)

People become addicted to them too easy though, that's my beef. I've met people who are really shitty when they don't have them and there was a point a few years ago where me and my step brother had one every day, it was f**king rough and I'm glad I rarely have them now.

There's also loads of artificial shit in them that I bet isn't good for your heart in the long run, or your stomach.

Yeah I totally agree! But they aren't really over-consumed here in Sweden. Yeah I've had my periods when I consume like 1 a day, and I'm glad that I stopped!

You can definetely drink better things than energy drinks though...

got 10 cases of Redbull currently in my van. Do I sell them to students for £1 a can or give them back to Danny? The only reason they are in my van is because neither myself or the delivery driver wanted to carry them up to the top floor of the building.

Sell. I was delivered 24 cans of Monster plus various promotional bits (connies, cups, stickers, tattoos etc), drank all 24 cans over the course of about a month and havn't had an energy drink since.

Other than maybe "Pussy", that genuinely tastes nice.

Anyway point of my post is that I was "sponsored" by Monster for that short period so please all congratulate me etc.
