Neon-trials
The one I had years ago had a 22 t so they must of made a few variations of the bash ring
monkeyseemonkeydo
It's just a standard one that's been turned down in diameter to save weight I'd have thought. Original was anodised and it's not difficult to paint the edge and make it look right again. I take it the edge isn't grooved like the full ones were. JDâ„¢
Yep, there was a 'normal' one (this one) a 'trials' one (the one with the chunkier outer edge for bashers) and the super pro trials (which actually came in 16t and 18t). I might have the normal and trials ones round the wrong way, but yea they existed.

Ash-Kennard
super pro is 16 or 18 tooth, once titanium with built in cogs, now steel, the one you are showing is the pro trials, the older ones are fat as f**k and i believe the newer ones are slightly fatter too. they were typically used for 22tooth cogs, but 20 tooth would work. clive leeson did machine several down to 20 tooth only, but they have no anodising on them. which makes me think that mr middleburn went through several variants of the pro trials bashring. although now looking at your pic, it does look like it has been turned down slightly Edited September 11, 2013 by Ash-Kennard
Luke Rainbird
You can see the ridged edge on the original post where the crank arm cutout is. It's a standard "Middleburn Pro Trials" bash (if you look reeeeeally closely you can just about make out where it even says "Middleburn Pro Trials" on it) There were a couple of slightly different models over the years, but nothing majorly different between them.
