BradJohnson
Evening lads, basically I've sold a few things after splitting my stock and one of the buyers is claiming he still hasn't received his goods after about 2 weeks. I've sent him proof of postage but this still isn't good enough for him. He's saying he's going to open a dispute through PayPal, and i'm just wondering where i will stand as i actually have proof of postage? Thanks Brad. Culshaw95
Possibly head down and ask where you sent it off whether it has been sent off/delivered I once had a problem like that and my post office didnt even send the parcel off not saying thats the case here but i dont see how it would take up to 2 weeks for an item or more to be delivered
Muel
Post the proof up here for everyone to see, explain to him that it's clearly lost in the post.If you both agree it's been lost, refund him, then put in a claim. I think you have to wait a certain length of time before claiming though, so I'd wait that long personally.
harmertrials
I once posted a profile wheel that I sold through here for £100. Buyer claimed it never arrived and I ended up having to refund him. Was gutted. Made a claim through royal mail, however due to my stupidity of not posting recorded delivery I only received a book of stamps as compensation. BradJohnson
Here's the proof of postage. At the bottom it says this is not a VAT receipt, but clearly states its proof of postage but he's saying it's not proof of postage. Wrayvon
I think the sentence that says 'It is important that you retain this receipt as it is your proof of posting' should prove that it is
FamilyBiker
i´d check the post office or place you sent it from,a mate sent me a crankset a week ago,it didnt arrive first.he went there again and it was still there yesterday. today it arrived and i assume someone in the post office has got a pretty angry text from my mate

ooo
Evening lads, basically I've sold a few things after splitting my stock and one of the buyers is claiming he still hasn't received his goods after about 2 weeks. You will need to wait at least 14 working days before claiming with Royal Mail. Like everyone else says that is proof of postage, If it doesn't turn up within that time frame then you'll have to refund, and hopefully your RM insurance covers you for the cost of parts. Clownbike
Hey Brad I thought I'd let you know I've still not received my items either....is it possible both packages weren't sent by your local post office?

RobinJI
Dude, just as a quick note, it might not be a great idea to post these guys actual postal address online. Maybe scrub them out in the publicly view-able images and PM the relevant guys the original? As has been said, check with the post office, if they really have been lost in the post then it'll be a case of claiming your money back off the post office after 14 days and then refunding the buyer(s). Gutting, but that's the way it is.

MadManMike
Where do you stand? You use tracked services, if it gets lost you refund them and then claim the money back from RM. Not really that tricky...

Not really that tricky... You don't have to use tracked services to be covered though- provided you have proof of posting you can claim up to £42 back on anything sent by the normal RM services. Obviously need to prove the value of what was sent (and it does take a long time) but the system does work.

Muel
You could have at least scribble out their addresses with paint before uploading you f**king douchebag, how is posting their addresses online going appease the buyers? BradJohnson
If I scribbled the address out they wouldn't believe it was their postage reciept.
shercofray
If I scribbled the address out they wouldn't believe it was their postage reciept. Then pm them the photo with their address showing so it's not in public domain. Edit: Basically just remove the photos Brad Edited September 11, 2013 by shercofray

Damo-adamant
First line of the lower portion of the ticket. He is a retard. Is he a forum member? Name and shame him. No need to be a keyboard warrior. Brad sent me picture of the receipt in 2 pixels unable to read it Brad my issue is that I asked you where is it and both times (1 week apart each time) you said you are sending it the next day and I have the chat as proof. I also asked for the picture of the receipt showing the date! which you still have not done. Also you sent two receipts over both with different prices, one was for 7 one was for 12 so which is for mine? Can't be both. I didn't open a dispute out of nowhere, I asked for a pic with the DATE showing so I know you posted and when to expect it, told you if you didn't send I'd have to open a claim. It's been 3 weeks, lied to me about post dates teamed with the fact you initially asked me to send via gift makes me sceptical, I did you a favour and paid extra for your fees? It may be proof of post but with out the date it could be any old receipt hes got and scribbled my address across the front. I'm not being unreasonable I gave you 3weeks to send proof and told you if I got proof or if it arrived i'd shut the claim.
