Yeah vaguetastic sorry about that, it was rite or wipe so i tried both haha. as far as i can tell 316 is a contender to the lowest grade 4130 on that strength comparison chart i linked, it could make a really sound bike, especially polished. Cant wait to find out :)

yeah,first ones were gash,tried tried tried,once the process was saved in my cortex it went automatic and i couldnt stop the whole evening haha.

back to topic,heres the...erm...lets call it the welding thread,thats what it´s went to...

but feel free to check out the other thread,i have the feel i´m now the only one that is posting there ;)

Power tools are useful in the kitchen environment. Get a drill and wedge a fork in the chuck, then you can whisk ANYTHING.

i´m truing wheels in the kitchen also,old fork or frame attached to the working desk plate-win!

just have to be carefull where i take my tools after such actions,my wife would kill me if she ever took a spoon out of the drawer and had a spanner in hand instead :)
