Rourke
Hey guys, I wanted to buy new bars for my bike. I have an inspired fourplay frame, echo urban forks, and the the bars and stem off of the onza zoot. I want to make the set up a little higher and wider. I was wondering what you guys think I should get. Thanks Edited September 8, 2013 by Rourke
FamilyBiker
if you want a 31.8mm clamp size most people would recommend you the trialtech highrise bars. i´m still running 25.4mm so i´d say ns district or blkmrkt badaboom. both have a very nice shape and are 76mm high and 711 wide
bing
Trialtech highrise or da bomb tactics
Brian Bleech
NS Proof bars.
LEON
Trialtech won't be any higher than the onza bars you have, although anything's an improvement over bars that weigh 670g.... Da bomb Tactics are great & quite a bit higher.
isitafox
Standard Zoot bars feel horrific and trust me the trialtechs are a lot higher. To be honest anything would be an improvement over them!
Mark W
Yeah, the Trialtech High Rise bars would be a huge improvement - quite a bit wider too. The new Inspired bars are due out some time later this year and they'd be a good option. Higher than the TT High Rise bars, slightly less upsweep to make them a bit more comfortable for stuff on 2 wheels - ideal. Not sure exactly when they're out though so if you're in a rush the TT High Rise bars would probably do the job nicely. EDIT: Something else to consider would be the stem. Think it's a 110mm x 25° stem on the Zoot as standard, so opting for something like a BBB or System-Ex 90mm x 35° stem would save you a bit of weight as well as bringing the front end height up (and making the bike feel a bit more compact). That style of forged stem is usually pretty cheap too.
Rourke
Ok so I am planning on getting a trial tech stem. The stem is 31.8 correct? So the best bars for that size would be the TT high risers right?
LEON
Depends how you want it to feel, your height etc. For me the Trialtech bars are too low on my 24", but fine on my 26". All Trialtech stems are 31.8mm. Edited September 8, 2013 by LEON

Cheers.
Mark W
It is, and approximately half that...
Rourke
Ok guys I went ahead and ordered the 90mm and 35 degree rise trial tech stem, and also Trial tech high rise bars. Hopefully I will get used to the upsweep. Thanks everyone. I would have probably went with another kind of bar, but I wanted to buy everything from tartybikes.
Matthew62
It is, and approximately half that... Perfect! Hoping they'll work out slightly higher than my current bars but with a similar geo. Cheers.
monkeyseemonkeydo
It is, and approximately half that... "From what I can remember, the bars are 9° back and 5° up. Not too sure on the rise though sorry, although like I said they're higher than the TT High Rise bars by quite a bit at the grip area. Don't know the weight either. I was too excited to fit mine so they didn't get a chance to lie around on the scales " Cheeky
isitafox
Hope they get released at the same time as the frame and forks, big spend coming!
