Magura MT2 Bolt Question

Picked up a MT2 off eBay the other day but it came without mounting bolts. I plan on running it on some forks with a +20 mount with a 180 rotor so I bought a standard IS to PM 160 mount, the question is what bolts do I need to mount the caliper onto the adaptor?

I know with Avids you need those domed washers but are these the same or it it just a bolt?

You can use either. using domed washers just allows for more adjustment if your fork mounts arnt 100% straight.

As long as the pads hit the disk squarly

Just for the people searching in the future - he doesn't mean this the way it reads (or I hope not :P )

You can only use the domed washers with the Avid adaptors, and if you have an Avid adaptor you have to use them. The bits that just out are slightly shorter than the Hope/Magura adaptors to accommodate the spacers. You can't use the domed washers to straighten out the caliper on a Hope adaptor without it being too high and not using all the pad surface. If you use an Avid adaptor without the domed washers, or a stack of other washers the same height, it'll be too low and the top of the disc will clip/hit the caliper.

Pretty shure u will not need any of the vee brake washers on that. As far as I am aware the avid juicy and earlier elixer calipers are the part that's different. The mounts will work the same as hope, shimano, magura ect. The mount will add plus 0, 20, 23 or 43 for use with 160, 180, 183 or 203 rotors.

There are a few others but if you have a magura brake and want to use a 180 rotor on an +20 fork

Any 160 mount works without vee washers.
