shercofray
Put a pump in the end of the grip and put the other end over the edge of the bar. Psh down on the pump and the air will escape out the other end of the grip allowing it to expand and slide onto the bar. I've always done this and never had any slip. weebryan
To get off cheap deodorant dosent evaporate too quickly To put on electrical contact cleaner leaves no residue and drys in seconds, use it on any type of grip, also get grips off easy cause there not glued on for futer replacement using this method

Ross McArthur
I use the cheap hair spray method on my alloy bars. Does it dry in and stick as well on Carbon bars? Would the hair spray do anything to the carbon? I'm guessing not but...
Mark W
Seems like you can pretty much use anything on carbon bars really - I've used spray paint, lacquer and grip glue before, and I'd imagine they'd do more potential damage than hairspray would be able to. You should be good to go really. In terms of sticking to stuff, whatever works on alloy seems to work as well on carbon for me. The only difference comes with grips really - I usually just use a bit of GT-85 or similar for rubber grips, but always spray paint/lacquer for foam.
