Jake.
Either the wheel is turned around, or the forks are ran back to front. I don't see a problem cause somehow it's probably got it's uses haha. holy drunk welder! *cough*marino*cough*
Ali C
a disc brake will only work on the left rear or right front of a fork leg......think about it.
dk2
Hmm why? And how did you come up with that? Motobilkes run double discs on the front....

Yeah, if on the right rear/left front you'd need a reverse caliper, and that'd be a pain in the backside for brake manufacturers, and personally, I don't think it matters whether the mount is on left rear/right front as long as the brake works. FamilyBiker
yeah, but has it got any advantage?i´d be curious about what for this was built, like a guy killed loads of rotors sidehopping to the left and got sick of it,then ordered this. err
it's a Pashley fork, they were sold like that for a while i did not know that. surely mounting on the front of the leg increases the stresses put through the mount though? isitafox
Yeah but that was back in the old days before obscene front wheel moves so that wasn't really thought of as much of a problem
Ali C
pretty sure it was put there to make it less likely for the front wheel to come out of the dropout on front wheel moves, not that it's a problem with bolt up hubs.
