trials hoe
yeah, so here she is...might have gone a bit mad with the rattle can matt black, but I like it needs a few bits to finish it off, like painting the sl rim but didn't see the point as i'm after a pro 2 on the rear and going to give DD a go, and getting a new front rim too so it'll all be painted up once I get them bits. my fav bit is the pad backings, think they look shit hot matt black also they are some of the pads I made myself too if anyone knows how to get the tpa screw bit out that would be helpful, I couldn't figure it out and didn't want to break it so it didn't see any paint either...its on a bit of a wonky angle too as I filed the bit the contacts the lever body to get the lever further away from the bars. if anyone is interested in a spec I can stick one up, before I forget what parts are what with the logos being history haha enjoy people! trials hoe
That looks really nice! Never seen those SL 24" rims before! cheers dude, to be fair its the only one I've seen too hahahayeah that looks mint pal where did you get the rear rim? x cheers again came with the swap for the breath stock I had, have been looking for a front one. and found nowt will prob get a because front and file it 'till it looks like an sl front...bike looks good! did you cut a shape in your pads brake block? and cheers again I made a mould so it came out as a rectangular type thing, cut it in half and used a wet Stanley blade to get the recess shape (stabbing my finger pretty well in the process). they could do with gluing on though the ends peel out of the backings a tad, think that's down to how soft they are though. they are a lot softer than the cousts I have but my creations work way better haha even on the long dead grind

Nice to see her looking well and serving you well!!! paint has given her a new lease of life, looks better with a consistent colour scheme too how's the breath doing? can't help but think it'd look superporn matt black too haha

Gave it to me for naff all. I've made 2 sets so far, the first set are on the front of my mates limey 4, on Ashton justice forks with a light grind. He says the bite and hold is massive, but the material is a tad soft. But I said I'd give him free refills

trials hoe
so everything went a bit dd recently took like 3 weeks to paint the rim, rebuild the back wheel and redo the hosing...6 day weeks at work are shite anyway here's some pics of the poorest quality, only time i had to snap a few and it was pissing down outside so the light was toss. by far the nicest looking wheel i have built to date, very pleased with the way it came out

Blake
Not always a fan of disk disc but that is hooottttt. I hope you smoothed the rim before you sprayed it. Get a black front rim x
Laurence--Trials
Looks fantastic, I'm doing that but with a ghetto build to my old one, glad I've seen yours first. What's the rear calliper? And side on picture??? X
bing
Its one of the old xt 4-pot is mount calipers. Stiff as f**k and quite powerful. They'd be awesome on a saint lever
trials hoe
looks lovely, needs an all black front rim though! where did you get the frame from? how does it ride? and GEO. please Yeah, front rim will be the next purchase and guna mod it so it looks like an sl front rim as I'm buggered if I know where to find an echo one. Frame came as part of a swap with the breath stock I had. Rides lovely perfect fit for me, kinda streety with the bars rolled back but still does tgs nicely too (been a long while since it's been ridden now though ). Geo - Wb - 1070 (measured by me with 415mm c/r +40 off. Forks) Bb - 66mm (60 is the because stated geo) Cs - 373 mm H/a - 71.5 Can't remember the reach though, prefer it to the echo 24 I had think that's down to the longer cs making it a bit lazier. I sooooooooo want that! Are those frames still available? I'm already wanting a raddix... Think they're still avalibe from China if you want a new one.Not always a fan of disk disc but that is hooottttt. I hope you smoothed the rim before you sprayed it. Get a black front rim x I'm a big fan of DD mods, but they feel too small to ride for me The rim was a slag to get smooth! Took ages to do, those so's are made of strong stuff and the grind was long dead too. Might order a front rim and some files in a bit... Looks fantastic, I'm doing that but with a ghetto build to my old one, glad I've seen yours first. What's the rear calliper? And side on picture??? X Matt black is the perfect ghetto colour, easy to paint With too you can't get it wrong Yup as below xt, side on pic of the caliper? If anyone has an xt caliper for sale let me know I have to have a matching pair of those bitches, but they're getting hard to find now and only ones I find are unreasonably priced examples. Its one of the old xt 4-pot is mount calipers. Stiff as f**k and quite powerful. They'd be awesome on a saint lever Good bite, but they fade bad iirc not something that's going to bother me on a trials rig though. Have thought about some new levers the tr's are rock solid when you pull the brake hard, gives some nasty pump Edited November 8, 2013 by trials hoe
