bing
A lad who I ride with has had tryall carbons and trialtech sl carbons, and he's cracked both of them. He's about 11st wet through, and he's not a basher either. So no, I'd advise not. Trialtech alloys for the win
harmertrials
Carbon bars are very hit and miss. I'm currently on my 3rd set. The stiffness of them is the main benefit, as you only save around 100g when compared to your average ally bar. However onza carbons are actually an ally bar with a carbon wrap. The geo on them is very dated by todays standard so that combined with the fact that they aren't the toughest bit of kit out there means you would benefit from trialtechs or something similar. perry01
Thanks guys, i did wonder if they had ally in, i thaught it may have been just on the ends to stop them splinting! That settles it then, ally it is and they can go back on the onza! Thanks again, Steve.
harmertrials
No worries. On a fourplay you want a lot of rise so I recommend the trialtech highrise bars. Short but steep stem and as many spacers as your steerer can take.
