Luke Rainbird Posted July 29, 2013 Report Share Posted July 29, 2013 Hi all, Those of you a little more in the loop will be aware that the 24tour takes place within the first week or two of August and this year is no exception. From 2nd-11th August a handful of us will be doing a quick trip around a few cities to check out some new spots, along with some old favourites along the way. Whilst there's a small main collective of riders making the whole trip (or at least sections thereof) it's always good to get additional faces out each day to show us around, get involved and generally be a part of what makes the trip so good - the social surrounding the riding! The plan for this year is as follows: London Weekend 3/4th Reading Monday 5th Sheffield Tuesday 6th Leeds Wednesday 7th Manchester Thursday 8th Stoke Plaza Friday 9th Bristol weekend 10/11th If you'd like to come along to any day please feel free - the more the merrier and it'd be great to have a decent turnout along the way as usual. Offers of places to crash overnight also appreciated There's the possibility of lift spaces available along the way too (I know I currently have room for someone else if required for some stops) so if you'd like to get involved with more than the occasional day do let me know and we can sort something out. Depending on how haggard we all are from the previous day's riding we could be moving on by then. I'll try to update this thread whilst we're on the road for arrival/departure times and locations. I think you'll find with it being the school holidays the plaza will be littered with kids on scooters until the evening time. Would be ace to ride the plaza with a few fallow trials riders. Would be good to ride it with some other street style trials riders it's always good to see what lines people are doing etc. maybe pick up the odd trick or 2.
