wish list or test pilot?

Recommended Posts

After buying the kids a bunk bed and going on holiday:D , I'm gonna see about making my bike suit how I ride, but where can I test what's out there to see what I want?? There's only two bike shops by me and neither are up for a judicious thrashing of their bikes. I could compile a wish list based on popular components but trial n error will get costly.

Rad fest? I'll look into it, the group rides iv seen on here so far are, well, so far!

Yep only had my bike about 36hrs but you know when you just know.. I'm just not feelin' it. Some of my old bmx "skills" transpose nicley but I'm f*kt if I can even bunny hop! Was gonna do a first ride vid but I don't wana look a c*ck so i abandoned that idea.

If u look at my videos I posted in "video of todays ride" I look a massive cock, but as I get better, the style and apparent ease of trials comes in.. iv had my bike a few months now and ride 2 times a week if I can. If after 6 month's you feel the same then consider changing stuff, I dont think its the bike its just your not used to it yet.

I thought my bars were too low but left it for a while then put another spacer in and it dosent make too much difference. It was just me thinking it didn't feel right.

Now I dont want to change much and am happy with how it feels.

My friend is the same. Hes got a 20 and says he feels too big for it, but I dont think he is, he just needs to give it more time as he dosent get to ride as oftern as me. He feels like the bike is limiting his ability but its his testicle's/confidence on the bike.

So to recap, give it more time, if you still feel like its not right try a small change of bar angle or a spacer or different tyre pressure etc. Then buy stuff /new bike as a last resort.

Cheers
