williams
Hey all! So, decided to swap my 2011 magura for a 05' magura (Not a good decision). Set the brake up and rode it for like 3 minutes and then my brake pad started rubbing. Turned out that the thing that the brake pads sits onto had snapped. Which left the whole plastic 'nipple' inside my brake pad backing. How the hell do I get it out from the backing? The "nipple" that I'm talking about is the piece that I've drawn a circle around. SamKidney
Melt the plastic with a lighter? You'll need a new o ring and it might discolour the anodising but it'll get rid. Edit: You can probably pick out the o ring first. Edited July 21, 2013 by Echo Lite

williams
Ok so came up with a better idea! I took a small and sharp flathead screwdriver and hammered that through the middle of the plastic bit. Which made it crack. So I just took up the bits from the hole and it works perfect now!
