Jake.
Echo cages are the weakest cages you can get I think... I'd never consider them if I were to get cages.
dngr2self
I snapped the body on my first pair of echo tr's after 6 months. They took a lot of abuse though so I put it down to my riding and bought another pair. They're still going strong after a year of average sized riding. I'm also 13.7 stone. williams
Don't see any problems with the Echo cages if you don't fail often
harmertrials
I've snapped 2 pairs of tr's. Now on my 4th set of try all elites and not had any issues whatsoever. Even stronger then they used to be now as they have added a triangular ridge on each corner of the body. I also recently snapped a pair of rockmans. Only reason I'm on my 4th set of elites is due to selling them with full builds.

harmertrials
I can't really comment on grip because I'm wearing terrex, so I could essentially not have pedals. But I did find the tr's to wear down very quick, and also the cages bend, annnnd they're ugly.
SamKidney
Quite like my Echo cages.
weebryan
I find the echo cages to shallow and my foot is also resting on the axel more than cage so not as grippy, the try all have a bigger higher cage so shoe bites to cage better and the teeth are sharper than echo
trialsiain
Dont know whether to get the 6061 outer cage ones or the 7075 outer cage ones, £10 between them
harmertrials
I've had 2 of both, no issues with either

Jake.
Jacks pedals with Stan ti are actually f**king smart, super gorgeous pedals and cheaper or close in price to the other ti pedals you can buy as standard I think. I also got a lot of shin digs with my echo cages, but that was over a year ago and I don't know if riding skill changes that.
