monkeyseemonkeydo
Bought this second hand the other day and have now got it set up just right. Most of it is stock with the exceptions of the Rohloff tensioner, drilled sprocket, SLX cranks, machined bash, 70mm x 25 degree Hope Stem, sawtooth rotors, Hope bar ends, Eclat seat and Trialtech singlespeed kit. Oh and grips. And headset spacers. But on the whole stock. Edit: more pics further down. Comments welcome .
Burglarboycie
Nice!! Not usually my cup of tea but I'm feeling this one!! Brown suede seat is damn cool, will have the same in black on my pashley. James
Shark
I don't like the brown seat but otherwise this is really nice. How does it feel compared with the Fourplay?
monkeyseemonkeydo
Hehe, cheers Sonja! I nearly looped out the first time I bunnyhopped it because of the change in geometry. It's definitely a bit heavier and different but certainly comparable! I guess in the end it's that little bit more focused at the street side of things which brings it that bit further from pure trials.

monkeyseemonkeydo
loving the 70's style orange and brown combo It seems to be a bit marmite... some people like it, some hate it!
Perez
I like it mate What gearing do you use, and what bashring is that one?
err
It seems to be a bit marmite... some people like it, some hate it! I'd go for more brown personally, maybe some grips to start? not sure what other parts you could get in brown though
monkeyseemonkeydo
Yeah, grips and pedals might be in order when the time comes... would finish it off nicely
monkeyseemonkeydo
Yeah, grips and pedals might be in order when the time comes... would finish it off nicely Here we go. First time trying plastic pedals and I'm not convinced by the grip they give so modified them to accept some M5's instead. Other minor details like sprocket painted black and underside of saddle painted black (instead of the random stock purple).
bing
Looks well nice that mate. I like to have one of these for a week, just to mess about on
monkeyseemonkeydo
I like it mate What gearing do you use, and what bashring is that one? Sorry, missed that. Gearing is 22-16 and the bash is the standard Truvativ one you get on the standard Fourplay that I had a play with on the milling machine at work. Mark W
Skyes just look fun. I think it's that squat, low, sturdy kinda stance it has.
monkeyseemonkeydo
I'm still toying with the idea of getting an Arcade frame kit but can't decide... We'll see.
Mark W
I believe a certain other Skye owner is getting an Arcade, so maybe we should get some sort of London/Portsmouth/Southampton ride on the go so you can try before you buy

Sam Nichols
Doesn't the pin modification sorta defy the point of having plastic pedals though?
trialsiain
I use nukeproof plastic pedals on my Mtb and the grip is amazing look like metal ones too
monkeyseemonkeydo
Doesn't the pin modification sorta defy the point of having plastic pedals though? The reason I got them was that they were the only 'brown' pedals I could find! I reckon they'd be ok in the dry but in anything else I wouldn't of trusted them. Sam Nichols
Haha, fair enough man! They do look pretty cool actually. Brown and orange is an interesting choice, like a clementine on the turn!
