hezzay
This might be too generic of a question but somebody might be able to help me out. Looking from the back of the bike, the left brakemount is closer to the rim than the right one. This is giving me trouble setting up my brakes with fresh pads. I can't get it set up without it touching the rim (TPA dial turned all the way out). I've thought of grinding down the pad a little bit, but before I do that I want to make sure I haven't overlooked any other options. I did notice one of the mounting points isn't perfectly flat, causing the clamp to warp towards the rim when tightened. I'll start off by making sure that's flat. Anyone has any other ideas? I only need 0,5 to 1mm of extra space.
AlexxRogers
Can you not just tighten all the spokes on one side to pull your rim over to balance out the spacing? Or will that cause you to have inadequate space on both sides?
tom@eastcoasttrials
your wheel build might have a dish where one side is tighter than other maybe worth slacken spokes and true it
