MilkyWay Tribe
After several months of designing and developing activities we are pleased to announce that the MilkyWay Tribe - the ultimate action sports community - is now online. It isn't just a blog, nor just a map: it's a real horizontal aggregator aiming to facilitate the connections between riders and the search for new spots where to practice every action sport around the world. hanks to this philosophy, the Tribe does not replace Facebook, Twitter, or the everyday social networks we all use, but it's complementary. It works as an information collector that will make easier to organize your sports life! With more than 250 sports already uploaded and almost 2000 registrations in the first month, the MilkyWay Tribe is just waiting for new riders to start sharing their passion and enjoying with others! MAIN FEATURES - Advanced Google Map, - Innovative filtering interface allowing to find any combination of sports, spots and/or riders - Personal account with custom links (to your favorite blogs and sites, social accounts,..) - Add a Spot: Upload your spots to share them with other riders - Create a Ride: track down and organize your trainings and rides - My Gear: share your equipment - Market: find what other riders are selling or looking for - Wall to write feeds and quick messages with other users - It's completely freehttp://www.milkywaytribe.com/ We're still in Beta testing and we improve everyday thanks to your feedbacks! Hope you enjoy it, but mostly that you'll find it useful! Best The MilkyWay Team Jacopo, Cavve, Gibbe, Lele, Chiara, Luca, Angel, Cicco, Cristian, Luca, Stefano, Elena, Andrea, Alessio, Alessandro and everyone who made possible this first step towards the ultimate action sports community!
AndrewEH1
If only this didn't have a completely terrible name...I'm not saying it's a bad concept though! It looks pretty good really, when I get home tonight I'll probably sign up and have a fiddle. Edited July 16, 2013 by AndrewEH1
