clerictgm
I started to ride trials (TGS) less than 2 years ago 20.09.11. Gone brakeless 13.05.12. Brakeless street-trials 10.09.12. And now I tired of riding. Sounds strange, especially therefore I ride ~3 times/week. One of the reasons I think is meager conditions for trials in our city, not so big variety of obstacles as in UK and disgusting climate. But now is summertime, weather is great (~1 dull day on 15 sunny days) and I have more than enough spare time. But in spite of it I ride pretty rare and don't have this "IWANTTORIIIIDERIDERIDE" feeling like it was before. Also maybe it's because I ride alone. Well, there are more and more days I don't particularly want to ride. And if I force myself to ride - I won't enjoy it, which generally makes me feel worse about riding. Maybe I choosed wrong bike or it's because riding alone is so boring? Don't know what to do with it.
JD™
I think it's because crime is so much more exciting.
UK_SPAWN
Yeah I think its riding alone. Have a week off riding. Find someone else to ride with. See how you feel.
clerictgm
Yeah I think its riding alone. Have a week off riding. Find someone else to ride with. See how you feel. >Find someone else to ride with. This is impossible, because there are only 2 of us left in whole city. And spots/obstacles for pure TGS with brakes and brakeless street-trials are pretty different.
clerictgm
I think it's because crime is so much more exciting. I just like to earn and spend money. I have many interests, and riding was the greatest passion for me. So maybe someone experienced similar feelings and found a way out of this unpleasant situation. J.KYDD
You know the exact date you started riding and switched to brakeless?
ooo
Taking a week off really helps. Also think about the top 3 moves you do and the obstacles you ride most, and then ban yourself from doing them for 4 weeks. Try watching vids of other stuff, bmx, street mtb, old skool street trials etc...
UK_SPAWN
Come ride with us if you want.
dezmtber
Get other bikes xc, road, dirtjump or dh for example. It really helps to break up riding the same shit different day feeling. And the different bikes can bring some skills you won't learn on a trials bike. And you may meet other cyclists who may go and buy a trial bike to ride with you when your not riding what they ride. dngr2self
Stabbing stray dogs and committing crime is way more exciting than trials, therefore you probably struggle to get the same buzz from riding. Why don't you quit trials and start bear fighting or something? I bet there's loads of bear fighting forums you can troll, plus I've heard there's quite a big scene in Russia so you'll make some friends hopefully. isitafox
If you're bored of riding then quite simply don't do it. If you have other interests then pursue them, you may find further down the line that you want to give triasl another go like many others have. He asked a question and he got an answer, don't like riding? Do something you enjoy. He happened to divulge a bit of information before about what he does when he isn't riding, I used that information in my original post. Now put your dummy back in.

Paperclip
I'm not one to point out the obvious here but if you ride a city thats packed with TGS things why not atleast make your bike more suited to that?
