bing
New bars time on Thursday. Bike is an onza zoot, bbb 90x35 stem, 30 mm of stackers. Trialtech high rise or rockman high risers(the new ones)? Thoughts please gentlemen
CalopS
I'd probably say TT's as they have less upsweep but only by 1mm and plenty of people have them with no problems. Rockmans are out of stock on Tarty anyways (Haven't looked anywhere else....)
bing
Yeah saw that. I'll prob get the trialtechs then due to the lack of another high rise option. Unless rockmans come back in stock, as they are £6 cheaper
dngr2self
Trialtech all the way. The amount of people using them says it all really.
Matthew62
If you're riding the bike in a streety manner then I wouldn't recommend any trials bars, they all have far too much upsweep. I run a Deity Topsoil bar and used a Deity 2014 before that. Nice amount of backsweep, good rise at 50mm and half the upsweep. If you're not spending the majority of your time on the back wheel then I'd get a flatter bar as it's nicer for everything else.
FamilyBiker
slightly ot,but i´d recommend blk mrkt badaboom bars, very nice feeling.1" clamp size though,so you´d need either shims or another stem. 80mm high,711mm wide.9.99 euro at hibike.de
Matthew62
Wouldn't bother with that when you can have the DaBomb Tactics in a similar shape but a 31.8mm clamp. A couple of the Scotty guys run them and seem fairly happy - super high!
Alex Dark
I've always found a higher upsweep to help with everything personally

Matthew62
Deity's in stock: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=52472 These at the grip area are about 2-3mm lower then a set of Trialtech's so you're getting almost the same rise without the big upsweep (if you like that. I do).
dave33
If its high rise bars your looking at you should consider the bonz carbon bar Abel is using

bing
He rides a zoot. I don't think weight is a problem. I'll have you know young Bradley, my zoot is pretty light now, it has urbans on, bbb 90x35 stem, trialtech cranks and Fsa bb. Just want done higher rise bars than the ones I have at the moment. The mad phase bars are shite
dezmtber
Zoot weighs less than some 24" steer trials setups.
