Sam Song
I was just wondering why I do not see this often on bikes since I just switched the rear hs33 to a v brake but kept the hope front disc brake. And I just do not seem to see this combination that common on other people's bikes. Any reasons?
LEON
If anything, I'd say of all the combinations available it's the worst looking!
Sam Song
If anything, I'd say of all the combinations available it's the worst looking! Even worse than rear disc and front HS33?

LEON
That's not bad, was worse in my head. But yeah V rear & HS33 front looks horrible.
dezmtber
Don't worry it only looks hideous if any one is looking.
picowatt
right now I have v rear and cable disc front. Mainly because I can carry an extra brake cable if roadside repairs are needed. I have been debating on switching to HS33 to give them a try. so then ill have hs rear with a cable didc front
PaRtZ
Alis using rear v, front cable disc here. Still seems to pull of some high end moves too...
Blake
nothing wrong with a V brake anywhere it's just most people prefer a maggie on back. Using rear v front mag has no advantages and looks god awful so that's why no one has it.
Dave Anscombe
i doubt very much il ever use anything but a v brake on the back could do with a cable pull disc on the front though Edited July 10, 2013 by Dave Anscombe
Skoze
I used to run that, never got called out by the fashion police.
picowatt
I will be trying HS33 just to give them a try. Never used them so I don't know what the differences are. Fiance got me a NOS 04 era Tomac HS33 Master cylinder and some slave cylinders. I gotta bleed them and give them a go. Ill use the same pad compound so it will be just determining the difference between v and Hydro
Yorkshire Dale
i run v rear and hydro disc front and love it! the rear brake is better than most maggys ive run
