robbie-woods
Cheers how hard are they to changeAnd also if the gearing on the front is an odd number is it best to stick with an odd number on the back
isitafox
Pretty simple if you have a chain whip and the right tool. What have you got up front and what wheel size is it?
robbie-woods
Okay may just tske it to halfords to swap for me got a 15 on front and 13 back its a 26"
tom@eastcoasttrials
im running a 18t freewheel and 15t rear feels great
Jake.
Good lad! Gotta meet for a ride soon, been too long. 15 on front and 13 on back? Get 18-15. If you have a front screw on crank I have a 18t sprocket (I think) you can have for a few quid. What bike did you get?
isitafox
15 up front? No wonder it feels horrible! To keep it round about the right ratio for 26" I'd swap it for a 12t on the rear or even better as said above go for 18 up front and 15 on the rear. robbie-woods
Okay could someone link me from tarty what I woul need to buyThis is what on the rear. robbie-woods
Plus say if this would work or not but what if I just put an 18 on the back as I already have a 15 on the front would that have the sake effect
Revolver
Yes. Yes, do that.
robbie-woods
Just wondered if it would still work as it would save me spendimg out on a new freewheel
Revolver
No, it would ruin it. Buy the right sprocket from tartybikes. If you have a bigger sprocket on the back than the front, you won't be able to do anything.

robbie-woods
Okay amd how about the one on the cranks what sort do I need for that?
isitafox
You don't need a freewheel as the freewheel is built into the rear hub what you need is an 18t screw on sprocket for the front and a splined 15t for the rear

Jake.
As I said, I have a cheap sprocket you can have. But you'd be better off getting the one from tarty.
