david.b
This will probably be a controversial topic but hey ho I've been riding with a booster for a while now, but due to the recent purchase of some cnc yellows, getting that important alignment with the pad is proving tough because the booster gets in the way :/ so I was wondering if removing it would reduce performance or damage my frame? I ride and echo lite mod btw, back brake im on about, Cheers
FamilyBiker
it could reduce, but it can increase performance, too. no booster gives more bite but kills the frame over time

Blake
What frame is it? If it has a stiff brake mount area then there's no need. But if you have a cheapest frame with a brake area like an onza comp or something youre better off with a booster.

Blake
I'd run a booster mate
0zzy
run a booster mine is quite flexy without and the brake benefits loads from having a booster in the majority of my experiences
dngr2self
The booster shouldn't really affect the alignment of pads. Can you throw some pics up as I imagine it would easy enough to sort out.

williams
I have don't use a brake booster on my echo 24" and the brake is mental, this is depending on pads and setup, but my brake works so good without a booster. And I can't really see myself breaking the frame because of that I'm not using a booster
