omgnoseat
If anything, Power/Solidness/Stiffness in the lever i think is where this brake is full of win! I think it's a nice lever, but the fact that you can move the blade outwards feels sort of scary. Maybe you haven't noticed it, but I keep doing it on accident while coasting along and it feels strange haha. I agree with the water bleed feeling though, it does feel very responsive! isitafox
If it's got that little sprung movement like on the 2011's I always used to find myself flicking the levers when I was riding along!
dann2707
Same, I do it now haha
bike_dummie
Is this lever movement the same as you get on a hope tech? Never had a 2011 either but may be getting a set of these when they come out
Jake.
Found myself constantly doing that too when my levers had that little movement... So satisfying.
FamilyBiker
ot:seen on tensile.net that the tocco levers are available for around 60 gbp, depending on location Edited August 30, 2013 by FamilyBiker
AdamR28
Not yet... they are still undergoing some work. I've been speaking with them over the last week or so to try and help with the changes. New piston, new bleed screw and tweaked TPA wheel are on the cards. In 2014 Magura news... we have FINALLY got our first delivery! http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/hydraulic_rim_brakes/magura_hs33_2014/c72p12194.html

AdamR28
There are better people than me to aim that question at www.tensile.net
Luke Rainbird
If these are as similar to the MT2 levers as they look (other than the TPA system) then they should be a winner. Fingers crossed for a longer blade option (either an official Magura replacement or an aftermarket one) for ultimate win
Mark W
Magura have done longer lever blades for the MT-series brakes for a while, and they also do them for these too. From when I was at TartyBikes, dealing with the new UK importers for Magura is an absolute f**king nightmare, and judging from the TB FB page I think they're still waiting to get hold of the 4-finger options...
Ali C
best looking levers evaaar! I'd almost want to run Maguras for that lever alone....Almost
Mark W
The ones on both the Cleep (still can't believe it's called that) at Tarty Days and Joe's Radix felt pretty awesome too. Definite improvement...
BradJohnson
If i drilled out the pivot bolt on a 2005 Blade would it fit / work? I'm tempted by these but i'd want a nice shaped blade because the standard ones look horrific.
AdamR28
Unfortunately not. Have you felt the blade on these brakes? They feel muuuch nicer than the older ones IMO. Edit: I should be more clear - they are wider and more rounded, feel a bit like an Avid SD7 lever or something.
Maxx
They're better than 2010-2013 ones, but not better than 2005-2010 ones (I mean in finger's feelings). All with 4-fingers lever blades and antifreeze bleeds.
Joe Papasnap Maher
I disagree max. I would say they feel better than all previous models. Including 05's with a 4 finger lever. Been running them on my bike for a few weeks now and can safely say they are awesome. Savage infact. Straight from the box, oil bled. Yet somehow they feel light and water like unlike any other oil bled magura I've ever felt. Every person who has had a go had been thoroughly impressed. Maxx
How can it feel better whereas it has more power ? We were a group of 5 riders the other day : one with 2014, one with 2011 and me with 2005 hs33. We all had 4 fingers lever blades. We all five found that 2005 > 2014 > 2011. And by the way 2005 and 2014 were on the same frame.
Joe Papasnap Maher
Like I said. In my opinion
bike_dummie
Do the 2014 brakes have that kinda little pop feel to the lever like the 05? gonna get some end of September when i get paid
AdamR28
If your 05 brakes had a pop feel then something was wrong!
Blake
Don't get why everyone wants longer levers Shorter ones looks so much cleaner and feel so much more solid, and return quicker. These looks mint, there's now way i'll afford one new anytime soon but hopefully I can try em out on someones bike at some point
Mark W
The 16% extra power ('05 2-finger to '05 4-finger) probably has something to do with it.
Jake.
True point that, but if you have a good brake setup then a short lever is only better unless you're a weakling. Looks better, lighter (marginally), stronger and has less flex. But people will choose what feels best to them.
Mark W
For single moves possibly, but if you do longer lines (e.g. if you're riding natural), then having a brake with more power means you're expending less energy when you're using it which in turn means you won't get as tired.
