bing
So here it is, hope its a bit less full on than the mod. Got it so I can ride street again, and go dick about down the skatepark with my lad, who is 5. First impressions, brakes are a bit poo, but after saints they are gonna be. Think its gonna have to be maggie on the rear on an evo2 mount with heatsink yellows, and got a bb5 to go on the front when I get a disk hub. I also have a set of trialtech cranks, and some MG1's to go on. It also has a KHE collapse chain, it looks beefy as hell Its a standard zoot, apart form forks, bars and stem, and the chain. Its pretty light now, but im gonna get a lighter bb and headset. Well happy. Just had a hop in the street, no pain, but no strength either. It will come

bing
Had a little hop round the garden tonight, feels ok. I'm a bit weak, but ill get there. So here it is with trialtech cranks, echo bash, FSA bb and mg1 pedals. Its a fair bit lighter now than when I got it, I reckon I've knocked at least 1.5kgs off by hanging the parts from standard zoot to the ones that are on it now. Just need to get the evo mount off Andee and I can run a rear maggie then. Can't afford to build the rear wheel yet with my hope hub, so it'll have to stop like this for the time being
dezmtber
Looking good there. Hope hub on the rear is awsome. I am thinking of going 16-12 on 175 cranks on mine
Revolver
If anyone is thinking 'that looks nice, I'd like to build one myself' I've got a frame for sale. Comes with a pimp seat too.
ogre
try some better vee pads, dedicated vee mounts for the win.
bing
It deffo needs some different brake arms and levers if I do keep em, cos these are shite. I've got a hope bulb hub to go on the rear, with a custom machined bolt on axle that I had made for it. But that will have to wait. Was thinking about some heatsink cnc vee pads for the rear, if i don't go maggie
SCOTTY___
Dale has Heatsink yellows in CNC backings for his vee break and its meannnn! Avid 5/7 leaver and arms if memory serves. I always loved avit ultimates but they dont come cheap!
bing
No they don't. The plan is firstly to get a front disk hub, then i can stick the bb5 on, I can get a decent one off ebay for not much money. I want a water bled maggie on the rear, with heatsink yellows, on a smooth rim. Running the vee with a dab of tar at the moment, its not bad actually. I want a fatter front tyre as well, this one looks well skinny and crap
bing
Have made a few changes, got some tnn lgms from thinkdougie, whacked a grind on and a vee booster, and my rear brake is now epic. I've also made a custom bash mounted between the bb and frame Hopefully my disk hub should be here today, so I can get some spokes ordered and run the bb5 on the front
FamilyBiker
nice! but does the bb thread in enough with the thickness of that bash?or did you sink the bash where the bb sits?
isitafox
nice!but does the bb thread in enough with the thickness of that bash?or did you sink the bash where the bb sits?Just use a 68/73mm BB without a spacer, can't see pic so I assume that's what he's done. bing
Yeah it's a 73mm Fsa bb. Plenty of threads left. Solid as hell
