isitafox
For all the weight weenies out there, discuss http://www.wiggle.co.uk/eclipse-mtb-superlight-inner-tube/ Top Features of the Eclipse MTB Superlight Inner Tube Manufactured from completely new materials, Eclipse inner tubes are not only lighter than anything else on the market but they also offer massively improved puncture resistance over conventional tubes too. Lower rolling resistance Better flat protection DIN Plus tested Repairable with Eclipse patch World Cup tested Swiss made MTB Weight savings can be as much as 226 grams off a pair of conventional MTB bike inner tubes on XC and AM rigs, and as much as 681 grams off your DH sled. These new tubes are a fraction of the weight of everything else out there, and most importantly, it's rotating weight that you are shedding so the weight savings will be immediately apparent. A rotating mass is a heavier mass, so by saving just a few grams of rotational weight in a set of tyres or wheels will earn you significant dividends out on the road or trail. That translates into faster acceleration and quicker handling without the risk of 'burping' that you sometimes encounter whilst running low pressures on tubeless setups. The word 'light' doesn't even do them justice.

harmertrials
Ah very similar looks wise. Very tempted to give a pair of these a go, but until I've heard some trials reviews I can't justify the price.

harmertrials
£12 for a patch? :l 12 euros for 5. Not too bad given the cost of the tube itself.

Ash-Kennard
anyone considered latex tubes before? they seem to weigh f**k all
FamilyBiker
i´d find it better for trials if there was a tube with like 150g,saving 130 compared to a schwalbe av10D,but with the same pinch resistance as the av10D. would do it for me. if i where riding an all mountain rig, like eclipse mentioned, and i´d manage to pinch that thing,50 euro would be in the bin,if the holes big enough. nah, thanks! Muel
Will it last 10 times as long as a normal super lightweight tube? If not, that shit's a waste of time yo.
dezmtber
Anyone buying these. If your valve cones away from the tube. You can get another underline warranty. Just a heads up as they have had a few dicky valves I will be using one in the front soon as the eclipe rep gets me a freebie Because I don't wanna spend £40 on a tube
isitafox
Front? If it's free you need to be testing on the rear!
Revolver
f**king £40 for an inner tube? Anyone who buys that is insane.
dezmtber
I would test the 2.5 x 26 on the rear but stretching a xc tube in a 2.4 schwalbe.
ogre
Don't see why your freaking out about the price. It's new, has no competition and if it actually performs well its easily worth the money if your keen. I'm pretty tempted to buy some next month.
