CalRobbo341
I heard a rumor that its possible to run 20" forks on a 24" bike and if they are disc forks then you can use a disc. I'm guessing this depends on the tyre that you run, and maybe the pressure and things, but is it possible? I guess it might make the bike ride a little wired but I want to know your opinion? Cheeeers! And if it means anything, it would be a more TGS orientated frame with Trialtech 180+ Forks.
FamilyBiker
it´ll lower the bb a fair bit(normal 24/26 forks are 395-425 a-c,20" around 350 afaik), and youll have to measure the inner length of the fork legs to the highest point under the crown. but why not? sometimes special setups work
SamKidney
My 20" Urbans fit my 24" wheel while I was waiting for my 24" urbans to arrive. Never rode it that way though, was only so it could be rolled around when it needed moving.
Revolver
It might actually make front wheel stuff easier.
dezmtber
Mega for foot jams ?
isitafox
Pretty sure there was a Russian guy who did it a few years back but had to shave his tyre down to get it to fit. Tried looking for the thread before but failed miserably. Would probably work with your old JAF Dez as it'd bring the bottom bracket down to a sensible height though you'd have to run a s**tload of spacers and a massive stem to make up the 40 odd mm height you lose up front
FamilyBiker
that´d give the 100+ frame a purpose, finally! joking
dezmtber
The +100 works much better on 410 forks with a 180mm stem.
