What's this Vimeo rubbish! Upload to YoooouuuuTuuuuuube :P
I jest - I CAN watch it at work, but I have no sound so still have to wait :(
Excited to get home!

Edit: Fun times! The Skye looks kind of awkward going to front... Does it feel like it?

Sweet lines/riding! Dropping down to a straight-on rail is whack.

yo flipp, its not a skye anymore man. switched to a Marino (same as rosses black 24) (video coming soon). Its the most comfortable bike ive ever done into fronts on if i am honest. however i was struggling in kirkcaldy as the night before i fell off my fixie, ploughed into a iron bollard and smashed up my leg. I was doing my utmost to avoid it contacting the bars.

that and lets be honest, i don't really have the style for short bikes haha.

Ah right. That'd do it! Haha.

I'm kind of in the same situation with my bike. Going to front, I've always had a longer bike. Now I've ridden short bikes for a couple of years and would hate to go back to a long one, but I find properly committing to front really hard - feels like I'm just folding over the bars and gonna die rather than actually helping. Have you found any ways of getting past it, or do you just hack it/never had that issue?

Watched it again... Super fun vibe!

Edit: Why did you switch from the Skye? TOO short?

If it's exactly the same as Ross's then it's actually quite a bit shorter than the production Skye (i'm fairly sure), more in line with Danny's current Skye.

The play I had on Ross's was a bit upsetting as it did feel more manoeuvrable and a bit more lively than my Skye. Infinitely better on the back wheel but it was only a short go.

The skye wasn't too bad flipp, i wanted to try something with a steeper head angle, and also a shorter back end, maybe also a little lighter overall. As Matt says, its the same as the one ross got built up, and after having a shot on his I felt it would be good to try one of my own :).

still getting used to it, short back end means it loops out quite easy i find, but im not riding as much as I want to at the moment. Constant injuries / getting old mean other commitments come first now-a-days.

ill have it with me at radfest, so you can let me know what you think of it.

So the Archive is going to be pretty similar (in geo terms) then to the new Skye. Think it'll only be the difference of the HA slightly. Can you notice a difference in stiffness on the Marino?

I was speaking to Danny yesterday about your Archive and he was fairly sure that you were still on his old Skye. I tried to convince him you were definitely on the Archive but not sure he was buying it.
