dann2707
Just a few pics. Cut down the hosing as said. Made my own hose clamping blocks out of wood to fit the new shroud nut thingy, it worked perfectly! Utilising the forks and bars to create the perfect bleeding situ. And the wheels are finally getting there! Managed to cake my ear in paint stripper and paint whilst using the wire brush haha. Nightmareee Frame will be with me this week when its back from JAF. Canny wait pet! Edited June 9, 2013 by dann2707
dann2707
The wheels are finally done Bathed them after final paint removal Rear with tyre on Front with tyre on Now waiting in my room for the frame to come back and it's good to go (apart from needing a new bb)

dann2707
Had another play day! My new pawls came for the freewheel. This is what the old ones looked like, worst one pictured! New ones ! All in! Engages so much faster now. Also noticed the outer ring had paint built up where the pawls engage, this can't be good so I attached it with a wire brush to get it from... To this: My bottom bracket is really notchy so I dismantled it and found the double bearing to be seized completely on the axle. After removing the inner race you can see how pitted the outer is... This was attached to the spindle so so hard so I had to grind it off... love the angle grinder haha All off! Just need to find a bearing now and i'm good to go. Filed my mounts flat whilst I had time too Then finally started to polish the frame, going to be like my old comp
