UK_SPAWN
Are you running spacers/washers on drive side to improve chain clerance?
ashleys sugden
yeah, there is a wider one on the non drive side, but shorter on the drive side. these spacers here!

Muel
Do those spacers have any knurling to help them grip the dropout? If not you could try using some knurled washers in there, like these: http://modelenginenews.org/gallery/images/knurl_samples.jpg
ashleys sugden
not the spacers are not like that. should i cut some grips in them?
Blake
not the spacers are not like that. should i cut some grips in them? will help a lot as it digs into the frame and grips a lot harder.
Muel
Probably won't help, as the spacers are aluminium and so are the dropouts, I'd order some of these if I were you. In fact I once had some in the shed and I think I used them to solve this problem, but it will have been about 5-7 years ago so my memory is a bit hazy haha. Either these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170852007642 Or these (but they may be too aggressive): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370820758607 If you put them in between the dropout and the hub, and on the outside between the dropout and the hub bolt and lamp them up tight, it should sort it. UK_SPAWN
I dont see it as being hard to design a thing to tension the wheel from behind also. Infact iv already invented it... anyone good with metal working?

Sam Moss
About to put snail cams on and drill and tap the frame until I realised I can only drill through the part wher the grub screw goes
