Rourke
Hey guys i bought an onza zoot 2010 exactly two years ago from this week. I rode the bike for a year until a year ago when i got a bmx bike. I rode that bmx bike for a 6 months until I got a injury that lasted me 6 months. So now I am just getting back into trials, so i recently ordered two complete wheels from tarty bikes, and now i am ready to get back into it. Today I was looking at my onza zoot and realized that i have a crack under my seat. What should i do? I seriously rode my bike for less than a year, and didnt do anything crazy on it.Here are some photos: https://drive.google.com/?tab=wo&authuser=0#folders/0B_KBwYZ9c13sZGgwY2dBeVItTDg Edited May 26, 2013 by Rourke
SamKidney
There isnt much you can do. Get it welded, and ride on. The amount of time you rode it doesnt really count for anything now, its well out of its warranty period.
Revolver
If you want another zoot frame to replace it, I have one

ben duda
Same place as where my zoot snapped by the sounds of it, I've seen pictures of others that have snapped there as well! I had a mate tig weld mine back together n that lasted another month or 2 then it snapped again so i bought an element.
George6512
I cracked my zoot in the same place after having it for a couple of months. Got it welded up and broke again but it never snapped. :/
Rourke
I'm sorry but I don't think I mentioned that the crack is on both sides. Should I still try and weld it?
Revolver
You can arrange with Josh at JAF to fix it?
Rourke
I am not familiar with JAF
dngr2self
He can weld it it then carbon wrap it. I don't know how long they last after being carbon wrapped though.
bing
He can weld it it then carbon wrap it. I don't know how long they last after being carbon wrapped though. Strong as hell. Kyle livesey broke the chain stay on his inpulse r26 and got it welded and wrapped, as far as I know he's still riding that frame

Revolver
JAF is based in Loughborough He operates a postal service too so you can send your frame to him if you want
