isitafox
Gonna fit my new hose to my Saints ready for bleeding and wondered if anyone could recommend front and rear lengths to go on a Fourplay? I know I could measure it on the bike but I'll be doing it at work this week on nights and the bike isn't built up yet. Cheers!
persistant_itch
Not trying to topic jack but Im curious to see responses to this, might be changing my hoses soon and want them a bit longer this time. Or considering running the front hose up through the steerer tube. were you considering running up through the steerer yourself?
isitafox
Nope just running normal, I chop and change too often to run it internally!
FamilyBiker
i think the length depends on the front setup, with 410mm forks,120 ht,30 stackers and a 120 x 20° stem its 750mm front and 135mm rear hose length for me,with tailwip x 1.5 option Edited May 26, 2013 by FamilyBiker
dezmtber
What familybiker said sounds about right. Standard rear comes with 1700mm I normaly cut about 300+mm off to fit most bikes. Fronts come 1000mm long and I take the same 300+ off for trials bikes 750mm front, 1350mm rear dshould work
FamilyBiker
1350mm yeah forgot a 0-lol
isitafox
For anyone looking to do the same for a streety 24 add at least another 10cm to the above recommendations. My hoses are just about long enough but go tight as if you spin the bars around!
