i tried it,i just put old black maggies in a vice and ripped it out with pliers.

edit:i think i´ll try liquid 2k pu once a good durometer is found,so i can play around with pigments and fillers to adjust my compound

theyre reusable,and they havent got those 2 nobbles which the plastic ones have on the inside,underneath the pad material.

easier cutting a shape of a certain recess than to fit an uneven shape

nah, at work we throw away 10 pairs of maggie pads/week,and the only think i have to do is rip them out in a vice.

but thanks

and without molding the pads(first proto pads will be finished pu,later resin),the original maggie pads have a weird shape to machine refills to

This is gonna turn out to be quite good, I'm gonna go for 3 different compounds and give them to different riders, to use how they want. I personally will be running them on a smooth rim, on the rear of a zoot
