mtbsteveo
After playing on my buddy's 24" Marino I thought I'd get myself one to try out and here's the result. Spec is; Frame: Ashton Effect Fork: Old DMR Trailstar Headset: FSA Pig Stem: One23 90mm x 35 deg. Bars: Truvativ Hussefelt Grips: Sunline Mushroom's Cranks: Generic 8 splines 175mm with Pashley 22t bashguard Pedals: Wellgo B109 Plastic's Seat: Vocal Ventra Snake Skin Slim pivotal Seatpost: Gusset pivotal Wheels: Alienation 440's in Chrome, Demoliton Bulimia font hub polished, Halo 6 pawl rear hub with 17t cog Tyres: DMR Moto RT 2.2 Tensioner: Trialtech I'm currently running it brakeless mainly due to not having a suitable set of forks, I know most people will object to the current fork setup but running it with pashley forks made the front end feel low and unresponsive, which is a shame because i love the look of pashley forks. I am for any advice with setups as this whole 24" thing is new to me. I'm planning to spray the frame as I'm not fond of the purple, id like to get some lighter cranks, better bars and more suitable forks if I end up getting on with the bike. bing
Looks ok that dude for a cheapy, I do like a nice budget build. Forks wise, look for a set of echo urbans. They'll be a good bit lighter than the dmr's. is that a half link chain I spy
CalopS
Echo forks are too bendy for street. Inspired Elements aren't much more. Chrome rims look cool!
