Best Brake Pads For A Grind

There's loads of ansvers since pads work differently for pretty much everybody. I've tried quite a lot and I would say that the Rockman cnc blues are the best pads I've ever had!

You can't really go wrong though with any CNC backed pad, except heatsink yellows :)

Yet my cnc heatsink yellows have been the most incredible brake for the last three years and danny himself has always loved it whenever he's ridden my bike :)

My choice would be some of the heatsinks on a light/med grind (not the rough arse grinds you used to run), I'm using a DX32 and it doesn't need grinding often.

I can't believe no ones asked what rim he's using

Knowing danny id say echo rim-Dont listen to all this hype on the latest pad bullshit-you know the heatsink yellows do a good enough job on either smooth or ground rims-

I liked the lgms or lmgs made by tnn-Beefy grind and that shit was insane-That was on try all rims and echo rims!

for trhe short period of time ive used magura reds in grind f/r ive been pretty impressed. cant comment on product life.

i assume you didnt use trials specific pads yet?the difference is astonishing!

i too used red maguras as a beginner, but was blown out of my shoes from phatpads(that were the second ones i tried)

im not sure which pads i had in first but my mate that gave me them said they where good ones, lime green ones that wernt cheap i think. so far the ones that come on the hs33 trials edition seem maybe a tad harder but still just as good on a grinded rim.

Apparently, these clarks pads are supposed to be quite good, quite a few of the young uns at comps use em, and no one has said a bad word about em yet

But my own personal favourites are cnc heatsink yellows, never had an issue with them. I didnt rate heatsink cousts at all. A lot of it depends on the rim as well
