Lucky Charms on sale in Tesco

I am more than aware the the title of this thread has the power to bring fully grown men to their knees in a childish fit of excitement, so it is with great delight that I can confirm that the champion of comestibles which we all know and love is now stocking Lucky Charms in their world food isles.

But that isn't all, this thread really is a gift which keeps on giving!

Tesco have also seen fit to furnish their shelves with Goober, Butterfinger, Musketeers, Cookie Cream Pop Tarts, Reeses Breakfast, Hersheys and various other American wonders.

Lucky Charms are £5 for a large box, so fill your boots.

My friend is a manager at Tesco and has told me that this is for a limited time only and is simply a viability test. Buy buy buy and show them it is worth it.

:)

What's the obsession with all this American shit these days? A shop opened up in Sheffield a couple of years ago and they sell cans of American pop for £1.50 each, and loads of my mates lap it up... Seems pretty crazy to me!

I'll stick to my 69p pack of Bran Flakes.

I appreciate students can't afford the finer things in life, a fiver for a box of Lucky Charms which could last you for four or five days isn't bad at all, I've had 6 bowls out of one pack so six "meals" or snacks out of each box. I'm more than happy with that for something that makes me feel good.

Peasants I say.

Moaning about how much they cost isn't required in this thread, go to the angry thread :)

Nah a mate of mine did though, I used to go to the news agents on Division Street because they sold 2.5 litre bottles of it for £2. I think he persuaded me to go there once, I bought one of each of the other flavours and they were all rank, I prefer the normal UK stuff! I went again (girlfriend at the time bullied me into it) and tried some different flavours of coke, again they were all nasty compared to normal UK coke.

I tried some Reeces Pieces once. Didn't like them either haha.

Just seems to me that the American stuff tends to have more sugar/sweeteners in them? I'm not a fan of really sweet stuff.

That was Coca-Cola's decision to start making it available here again, because it originally was, got taken away and the public demanded it's return.

It was not a supermarket going to great lengths to import cereal :P

Also - how dare you imply that Vanilla Coke is "bumf"! Haha.

It appears my knowledge of the history of vanilla coke was insufficient! :P

I think it's nice to have a wider selection of snacks/cereal here but I'm a sweet tooth and also a greedy teenager.

Bring on de bumf
