Would this be a good first bike?

Thanks for the proper advice UK-Spawn, its in good condition, i just wanted a simple "yes it worth it".

Hahahahaha.

He is simply asking if its worth it for a beginner I would say yes for sure if its in good condition this is why this forum is dying a death because u can't ask a simple question and get a simple answer instead u get insults like that from childish people ! Rant over

And I, who has had first hand experience with this frame as a beginner and cracked the frame myself on the weld at the seat stays, would say it is not. This was in 2006 when I was learning how to pedal hop and drop off 1 foot walls.

The forum is dying a death because it's 15 year olds who come on, ask for advice and throw the toys out of the frame when they hear stuff they don't want to!

Am I really on my own here? f**kkkkkk

And even more to add to that, I bought a great condition T-pro for £80 on Gumtree in 2010 and if you look on the bike pictures, Ben bought a near new onza pro for under £100. Both far superior bikes.

I'm with dan 100%. Don't ask for advice then when people help you tell them they're wrong. Point is that youre a newb to this sport and everyone who's experienced will often correct you so get used to it.

In regards to the bike there are far better bargains out there

Please stop with the hideous font.

As for how they ride, if you're getting it to be your first bike, it pretty much doesn't matter because you'll just be doing backhops and wheelie drops for ages.

You never once asked that. You asked is it worth it for the price. Thats it.

I thought my picture would of been enough to put you off.

Obviously not, its your choice, id ADVISE you not to get it.

But meh.

Yeah point... You could build that from parts brought on here 2nd hand fror that much + would have better components then.

Surely building that frame up would cost more then just getting a 2nd hand bike?? Unless i just ride it till it brakes and replace the frame with the toxsin? What you think..

I only have £140 at the moment though :(

You could get everything on here for that. Bar maybe 1 or 2 things.. Then as ur building it up save up for the bits u couldnt afford. + you wil learn the bike, how its put together, where everything goes and how its supposed be. When somthing brakes u will know how to identify and fix it... Id say you could get bars n stem for 40 brakes just have a back to start with, wheels u could get new set for 99quid so second hand... Jusr have a look around... Bet u could do itfor 180...

Yeah im light too and never broke anything despie landing hard on downtubes on wall edge etc, worst i done is a dent... I guess the more u weigh the more damage occurs when you do bash somthig... Think thats basic physics :) - if u weighed 500lbs and tried to do a drop off i bet youd break a lot off things lol
