LEON
http://www.pinkbike.com/u/RyanLeech/ He's always answering the comments & stuff so he should be able to tell you. Yeah I still ride! lol, just started filming & looking for stuff for the next 2 videos. Did a couple of riding pics at 7am this morning! I'll put them up later when I get them. I did have a white Norco yes! Loved it when I got it but it was too light for a steel frame, geo wasn't rigid friendly either. I'm just glad I didn't pay the £450 price tag. Ryan's one of the legends, inspred me more than probably any other rider, to me trials is separated into the Hans Rey era -- Ashton Hawyes & Akrigg etc -- The Revolution/Evolve lot -- Trialskings -- Then a big empty void that didn't really interest me until recently.
sharn
Cool, i'll send him a message when i sign up.. Thats good you still ride man, Iv'e got this vivid memory of a video where you clear hop a rail on that Norco, and im sure the video sizeings out.. It was really stretched or something? And Obviously really sh*t quality too.. I may be wrong though. My brain likes to make stuff up Those Norcos were stunning though, but i agree.. forks were too short and so b.b was too low. I rode Jolfas a few times and i much preferred looking at it i gotta say I bet it'd have felt alright with a suspension corrected fork and and a lower stem set up maybe ? Trials kings were just mind blowing at the time! Used to get me so fired up for a ride. Anyone still ride the zebdis? Anyways, cool things. Peace.
LEON
I believe this is the one London 3 by Jonny Jones. Looking back...cameras have come a long way in 9 years! Yeah with a short sus for I guess they would have been about -10mm bb which was standard back then. But I cracked mine in 2 places after 6 weeks from new, so I carried on with Zebdis after that! There aren't many Zebdis floating about now, Trialskings made them the street frame of choice for a lot of people, it was the "Hex" of the last decade. sharn
Thats the one! Haha good times, weird that clip was so vivid in my mind.. even the slightly warped nature of the footage. Nice work on that.. to Manual! Aalright. things are counted technically higher when your b.bs that low Nice to see that vid again. Jack barnes! Forgot about that sketchy little beast. He was wild. Anyway, Ryan leech.. I think it's cool hes promoting his outlook aswell as just his skills. I admire that and think even the smallest line can be really rewarding if you look at in this kind of way and thats what ive always loved about trials.. You can ride anything, anyways. And i'm getting to that age now where ive started to find stretching and breathing beneficial before and during rides.. So yeah, full power to the Leech.. Diggin the spirit. LEON
Lol Cheers! Yeah Jack Barnes was a monster on that ride, I heard he did a video called "Roller coaster" but I never found it, so if anyone knows of it...
