trialsiain
Not sure which ones to get, I rode echo sl forks for two years so i doubt id snap spades and like the look of them better than tnn but there a bit more expensive... has anyone rode both, are spades noticeably flexier ? dave33
I have never actually Owned either of them but I have rode bikes with both, if they tnn forks are what prattley had. ? Both are pretty stiff but I'm used to carbons now but I have seen a couple of snapped spade forks. Personally I would go for the tnn's
J.KYDD
TNN's Spades are snap happy. Mine went in 12 weeks, as did Seddon's. They go right at the base of the steerer too which is scary as f**k!
trialsiain
ok cheers, wasnt that just the old version that did that ? pre 2010
WIGAN ??
i know this is tnn's first leap into the more structural side of things but just look at everything else they've produced so far its really top quality id probably go for tnn's out of the two
dave33
ok cheers, wasnt that just the old version that did that ? pre 2010 I know it was a problem, but not sure if they ever resolved that. Actually since I have gone carbon I havnt really taken notice of any developments regarding alloy forks
AdamR28
TNN stronger (they are just old Koxx Forks), Rockman lighter - but you won't break either.
Greetings
If you rode SL forks for 2 years (hard to believe ) then you could even stretch your budget and go for Karbons if you're looking for something stiffer and lighter? Mine have lasted 3 times longer than SL's so far, I've had them for 1,5 years. SL's gave up on me every 6 months, 4bolt version of course. Go for karbons if you can afford it, I think I have had them before greetings got his, and still going strong. Not bad considering trialtech lasted me less than 6 weeks before they cracked
