isitafox
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=360645402285 I'd get that and pick up a 4 finger lever but make sure you mod it first!
crinks85
what mod would it need? i thought the 2005 version were directional only?
isitafox
http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/176773-how-to-modify-a-05-magura-hs33-lever-body/#entry2439065 05's are far nicer in my opinion, levers will work either way just flip them over. EDIT: And I have run both versions each for over a year.
crinks85
isnt the ebay link just a rear brake and not a front?
isitafox
It's a left hand lever with the hose short for the front brake. You just have the lever upside down on the bars, works just the same.
crinks85
I've gone for the hs33 2011 ones. Figured that t has a 5 year leak warranty so I'm covered for that plus I would of changed the pads from the standard ones any way so for £72 it seemed a good deall. Fingers crossed I get a good set! isitafox
They're definitely good brakes, neither of my sets leaked I just got annoyed at the amount of flex in the lever.
no1harts
The flex in the lever you speak of it that on the 2011? I was looking at upgrading my 2005's but flexy levers would be a turn off!
FamilyBiker
yeah he should mean 2011s.its not only the blade that flexes, its the whole lever body...

dave33
Had some on the Pure I sold to Vandart Yea that's it, think they went f**ked soon after, not a complaint by the way Just you must have a smooth finger action to get them to last that long.
