Front chainring problem

Not to long ago i built up a dirt cheap bike from bits i had and what i had in work. I resently took the 3rd gear of the front because it was bent and teeth where damage. Every time i drop into 6 and 7th gear (only have 7 speed) on the back the chain comes of to the right also if i am speeding along and hit the smalles bump it comes off. It was doing the same on the damaged 3rd gear before i removed it. Ive set the stop as far in still letting me get the 2nd gear also adjusted the screw on the back of the derailleur that adjusts the wrap around just to see if it added some tension.

I havent spent a penny on the bike but if i need to its got to be the cheapes way possible as it isnt worth anythink. Any advice on how i can fix this problem would be appreciated as i have to pull of the road 5, 6 times there and back to put the chain on. and riding in a higher gear isnt fun

i could do this, dont mind loosing the lower ring. id imagine its going to be one noisey ride every time i went it the 7th with the chain scraping on the derailleur

if you adjust it the right way there should be no scratching.

mind youd abuse it anyway,so no point in not bending it as you need it :wink2:
