Danny
There always seems to be a layer of grit/dust all over my Mini when its been in the garage 2 minutes. Its a brick garage with a wood and felted roof. The house is only rented so i can't really be painting it.If it gave it a good brush and a good layer of diluted PVA (i've got a 5l tub already) stop a lot of the grit coming off the brickwork or are there better sealers available? Muel
I'm sure if you asked the landlord if you could paint it, they'd be open to it? Just confirm the colour with them first?EDIT: Actually, just remembered that most landlords are not like mine... She's awesome. Danny
Potentially yea. I'm going to ask if i can do the floor. Something clear on the walls would probably be better though.
JD™
No landlord I've known would have a problem with you making their garage better. It'll look better, and it'll not cover stuff in dust, there's no logical reason for them saying no - especially if you're not going to ask them to stump up the cash. MadManMike
Is it not cheaper and easier to just get a cover for the mini?
tomturd
PVA should do it, when I got a plasterer in he did a whole room in about 5 minutes with it, just get a big brush and slap it on.
Tom Booth
Yeah a pva water mix should do it dude, we did our garage a few years ago for the same reasons.
Danny
I've got a pressure fence sprayer I plan on doing it with. I did one wall yesterday and so far so good but still covered in white patches but I guess they will dry eventually.
