1337 Trials
Hello. Im looking at buying my first full face helmet. Ive been looking at this one from chain reaction cycles. Does anyone know of any other sites worth checking out for full face helmets? Thanks Edited April 30, 2013 by 1337 Trials
ooo
CRC is good because its free to send back if it doesn't fit. It can take a fair bit of looking around to find a good fit, depending on your head shape. Make sure you get a good fit even if it costs you more. winstanleysbikes.co.uk is usually pretty cheap on helmets too though.
trialsiain
Its worth actually going to a bike shop and trying a few on to find a good fit too, then you dont have the hassle of sending stuff back.

Ash-Kennard
different companies work from different ergonomic data, i.e. a 57cm helmet from met is not the same shape as a 57cm helmet from giro etc. go to a shop, try a few on, find a brand that fits well, then order it online for half the price. trust me, worth it
Krisboats
Ive got that helmet. Its very basic, but i found it fit me better than the next model up. You really should try them out, its not all about head size. I found the jaw pads on the other model gave me jaw ache after a few minutes, where as the jaw padding is wider on this one. 1337 Trials
Just received the helmet. It looks like it has been badly treated by the post men. Theres a plastic piece that goes on the mouth and it has been smashed off and the holes to bolt it back on have been snapped off. The helmet fits ok. Feels a little tight on the chicks but should I let it bed in?
Ash-Kennard
no, should have listened to what everyone was telling you and tried it on before you bought it. Edited May 3, 2013 by Ash-Kennard
1337 Trials
Nah it feels ok now bud but I need to send back because the front mouth piece has been broken off and I can't screw it back in because the thread is plastic and it has been cracked :/
